There is a button that says mine gold and it gives you one gold. Twenty gold hires a miner who does it for you. Two hundred buys a young dragon, and the young dragon is worth more than every miner you own put together. That is the first two minutes, and it sets the pattern for everything after it.
Above the young dragon are eleven more tiers, each one bought with a reset that hands back your progress in exchange for a multiplier you keep. The multipliers stack, the counters overrun ordinary numbers and switch to scientific notation, then to notation for the notation. Achievements mark the milestones. It is unashamedly a game about a number going up, and it is very good at the one thing it does.
